Spaying campaigns
In recent years we have seen too many cases of newborn puppies or kittens abandoned or cats/bitches that could not give birth, needing medical interventions.
In addition to our own efforts to provide free or low-cost sterilizations, we collaborate with the authorities from Cășeiu commune but also with other non-profits from Cluj county to cover an area as extensive as possible.
Local spaying campaigns
In the first 3 years of activity, there were weeks when we were asked daily to take in dogs and cats, especially puppies and kittens. As the number of sterilizations increased, the requests to take over decreased, from this reason, we will continue the low-cost or free sterilization campaign of dogs and cats in the area.

Veterinary ambulance
Most people in rural areas do not have access to a veterinary practice to sterilize dogs and cats, that's why they resort to "traditional methods" to get rid of unwanted dogs and cats.
The veterinary ambulance would allow us to organize campaigns in more areas isolated, thus preventing the abandonment of animals.

Collaborating with the authorities
From 2021, Cășeiu Municipality City Hall offers free sterilizations for registered dogs. We offer the organizational part: appointments and transport to the vet practice.
In the peripheral areas of Dej, we collaborated with the law enforcement forces to neuter stray dogs.
Spaying campaigns in Cluj county
Starting from 2021, together with 7 other associations, we started a joint sterilization campaign which will cover almost the entire county of Cluj. Anyone can call, from any part of the county and the request is taken over by the nearest association.
