Scooby

Scooby is paralyzed, but that doesn’t stop him from loving people, other dogs and, most of all, running in his wheelchair.

Scooby was found after being hit by a car and left in the summer heat for approximately 24 hours. His spine and humerus were fractured.

He went through several surgeries and physiotherapy, but unfortunately, he never regained the ability to walk. That doesn’t mean Scooby is an unhappy dog. He is sociable, loves people and other dogs, enjoys playing and, when he is in his wheelchair, can outrun many of our other dogs.

Scooby is incontinent and requires ongoing care, as well as special food every month.

The chances of him finding another home are small, so Dumbrava will most likely remain his home. He can, however, be supported through distance adoption, helping us cover some of the costs of his long-term care.
