Dumbrava is a local community where children, animals, elderly people, and volunteers learn care, responsibility, and belonging together.
Dumbrava's story began in 2020.
Dumbrava lui Patrocle was founded in 2020, at the beginning of the pandemic, by people who were already involved in animal protection, literacy, support for children, elderly people, and community work.
The first activities focused on animal rescue. Step by step, the work grew into a community model for children, elderly people, volunteers, and animals.

We want children who understand the world, notice people around them, ask for help, communicate, trust themselves, and take responsibility.
Animals teach empathy, responsibility, respect, resilience, and the truth that each life has different needs.
