Want to volunteer?
Whether you have a few hours on a weekend or want to commit regularly, there is a place for you at Dumbrava. We value initiative, responsibility, consistency, and people who finish what they start.
How much time is needed?
You can help occasionally, for example for 2–3 hours a month, for half a day at an event, or through a recurring role agreed with our team. You do not have to do everything.
Remote volunteering is possible: translation, social media, fundraising, photo editing, IT, design, communications, and other professional skills can be offered from elsewhere. For these roles, we can start with an online conversation. Work with the animals and children requires being at Dumbrava.
How volunteering grows
- Write to us, meet us at an event, or arrange an online conversation for a remote role.
- For on-site activities, visit Dumbrava and meet the children and animals.
- Come back and talk with us about your interests.
- Start with small responsibilities.
- Build trust, then take on bigger responsibilities.
